October Prayer Letter 2009
Pray for North West Europe: Harold & Kathleen Presley (RMC)
PRAISE REPORTS!!!
Ø Praise God for the wonderful things happening among our Punjabi friends (about 50) in England. Salvations, healings, baptism in the Holy spirit. They are so eager to learn more about Jesus and grow to know Him better.
Ø Praise God for us (H & K Presley) being back from USA. Good furlough. Good wedding of our daughter Bethany. Good times with Miriam getting to train with Ballet Magnificat. Good times with number-one grandson, Levi. Oh yes, and we visited a few churches while we were there, too. Good to be back.
Ø Praise God for a healing miracle with Dave Glover…in hospital…Doc says he can’t walk, and the evidence is all too clear to Dave that they are looking to amputate something His wife, Kathy, was leading the church that day. Church prayed, and Dave stands up in the hospital and starts walking around. The guy just won’t die, won’t quite and won’t even complain! Too many miracles to list when talking about Dave Glover. We give God praise.
Ø Praise God for Children Ministries newly established and developing in some of our churches because of the tireless work of Jasmine Crilly. She is gifted and highly focused in all things related to discipling children and training teachers to do the same. We are grateful to God for adding20Jasmine to our team.
PRAYER REQUEST:
Ø Radical changes in UK Immigration laws and visa status is taking it’s toll on our time and WMM money and causing Rob & Michelle to return to USA prematurely. Pray for wisdom, favour and all to go smoothly as we work to comply with new laws.
Ø Couple in Denmark in kinda delicate ministry-transition. Pray for grace and God’s direction for them and that it will be a win-win.
Ø Pastor Grace in Amsterdam returning to Ghana…pray for her church as she sets up leaders to carry on the significant ministry.
Ø Interns trying to decide if they want to come to London. Are they coming or not? Do we want them in London or not? Pray for God’s will to be clearly impressed on us.
Ø Couple in transition from Bristol church…should they start a new church? …are they ready?...is God in it?...will the old church be supportive?
Pray for fruitfulness and strength for Bristol ministries.
Ø Dave Glover’s health. He’s the pastor in Bristol. Requires healing of heart condition, kidney failure, diabetes, and complications stemming from all the above. In the meantime, there’s no one more happy than Dave! God, give all of the same spunk and good attitude as Pastor Dave.
All but one of our London churches (12 in all) require good property for meetings. Pray for God to bless the finances as He opens doors for property ownership or reasonable usage.

Matthew and Femke Helland in Amsterdam: We have been able to sell our house. Praise God. We plan on moving this weekend. Please keep praying however for the financing for the buyers of our home as well as for us that this will be a smooth transition. We would love to have this all behind us before we go on the missionary retreat next month. Another praise report is that last Saturday we had 80 friends, family and neighbors show up for the dedication of 3 of our babies in our church. It was a really special event/day. Please pray of a training day of the celebrate recovery we are hosting here in Amsterdam. This is a program which can help us address the needs of people with different hurts, habits (addictions), and hang ups. Pray that we will have a great day of training and that we can get this started in Amsterdam. Keep praying for our kids club. There are some possible doors opening whereby we may be able to expand this ministry to new spheres of influences. Pray for God's wisdom and boldness in ministering to the children and entering the right doors of opportunity. Pray for Amsterdam. Pray for breakthrough in our city and churches. This Sunday we are having a special day for prophetic ministry. Pray for an open heaven and that God will speak into our lives in very special ways. Thank you all for your prayers, Matthew and Femke Helland
